Playback buffers even on local wifi N network. Doesnt play mkv files. Cant watch videos remotely without these two features.

This was a fantastic app until Synology decided to remove dts support due to license issues.

You could do much better. I f; ing love my NAS from your team. But this app blows. Mind you, I am not sure if its the app, or the that my 413 just can’t handle proper transcoding, let alone stream nicely to your app… I guess it’s my fault, but I really feel stuck using a NAS that just wants to be a storage device in a day where even my fridge can play me any video I ask want. Archer while I make grilled cheese? Yes, please. I need to go for a walk now. Thanks!

Bookmarks are gone with latest update and now I lost my spot on my shows. Not impressed. All there is now is a recently viewed tab but that is not helpful for tv shows with lots of episodes. You just now what show you last watched but not what episode.

Its a great app but useless when casting on Nexus Player, freezes on the loading screen on the app and nothings happen on the TV. Thanks!

App seems to suffer from the infamous Netflix issue where IMDB plots synopses are concatenated together to form a bizarre description. But aside from that, app works great so far!

After upgrading to iOS 8 and DS Video 2.3 Ive lost the ability to play video over 3G/LTE network and remote wifi. Everything works as before when Im at home, where my Synology DS1513+ is. However, outside of local network nothing plays anymore. Not sure if this is iOS 8 fault or DS Video 2.3 fault. It seems that nowadays not many companies doing QA anymore. Synology, please investigate

For two step auth, requires a code every time using this app on Apple TV, need a remember device feature for tv! Too anyone to input that code on tv!

This update broke the sound transcode. It used to work on the previous version. Hope to see a fix soon...

Stupid idea to share login details between apps.

Please bring back swipe gestures to move movie back and forth. I know I used this feature a lot in older versions. Scrubbing a timeline is so 2005...

Good app, but I wanna open some video files in VLC player, when standard video player dont opened himself

After last update stops playing *.m4v files directly, propose to play it in dsfile or another player.

Serious bug! Sometimes when you send a video to my Samsung TV it turns Volume to the maximum and you cant turn it down remotely. It scares my kids a lot! please fix

Usability was lost after update( to many actions to watch the last episode among several seasons. Hard to minimize the season

Interface is nice and clean. Doesnt work for me though. Giving two stars because I figured its me and the app has to work in some capacity or they wouldnt have released it but on the same token DS File works fine on the same phone, on the same network and didnt require any configuration.......

Synology, PLEASE LISTEN. This app is no longer useful for anything other than direct streaming. Here are some outstanding issues: - Remote Play no longer recognizes any devices on the same network. This includes a smart TV and WDTV Live player. (It used to). - Poster art for videos does not update; once it loads in the app you are stuck forever with it. Even after you update the artwork on the NAS. - Having the option to automatically continue watching is great... If it actually automatically continued. Instead it pops up asking if you want to load the next one. Let us configure to automatically continue then do so without prompts (think Netflix). Also add this corrected feature to collections (with some sort of sorting feature) as well as keeping it on TV Shows. (Unrelated to this app: ADD FEATURE TO ROKU.) - Allow an option to prevent downloading or playing videos when not connected to wifi. These issues keep it from being perfect. Love the interface and clean look; but the features just arent there yet.

Since the recent dsm 5.2-5565 update 2 this app no longer works with iPhone 6 plus or iPad mini. Its frustrating how this happens every time they send an update. Get it right before you roll it out.
